It’s for people who were too uncoordinated and/or lazy to get good at shooting and dribbling, and who were tall but not basketball tall (ie 6’1”). Also people who were too dumb and/or gay (literally) to maintain interest long enough to learn the very simple plays and basic principles of team basketball and needed it dumbed down to “when ball goes here I go there” in every scenario.
