No way, I'm sure if you get a load of the fans' phenotypes they'd tend to be more Scummy than, say, Green Day fans, but they're still a 90s pop-punk band. It's a Loser genre.
Scumbags will be more readily associated with rap (wiggers) or country (rednecks). But not everyone is super into music or wants to commit to the "lifestyle" of being a country or rap fan. Nickelback/Buckcherry et al exist for those scumbags who casually listen to music while drinking and/or driving their trucks or Camaros around and just want something that isn't faggy or niggery playing in the background.
