Russia maximizes its leverage by cocking the gun it’s holding to Ukraine like it’s apparently doing. But Putin would have to be retarded to actually shoot the hostage.

the risk there though is it gives us more time to funnel weapons in and set up defensive positions, but in any case i don't think ukraine can win a war if that's what vlad really wants. |

Don't see any good outcome for Biden. If Russia does invade and we jump in even with remote bombing, he's not going to get credit at home as Americans are too tired and worn out from overseas engagements. If Russia doesn't invade, he looks a bit foolish with his doom and gloom forecast. If a stalemate happens, he gets nothing out of it.
