This is the opposite of reality. I would rank Japan below Thailand and possibly at the bottom for East Asia. I didn't see any women that resembled the chicks in porn. Where are they?
More surprising was that technology is less advanced than Korea and China. Was expecting some Blade Runner like future society but that must have been a 90s thing
Finally, this must be the most restrictive first world country on earth. You can't smoke or drink or do anything fun in public. Apparently they banned adderall and Ritalin and will throw foreigners in jail for bringing in their legal prescriptions. Also everyone seemed kind of sad and bored. The food was amazing though. |

They have incredible deals on electronics and golf stuff you cannot find in America
Apparently they are veering far right politically which sounds good in theory
Also it felt incredibly safe all the time and everywhere. Like nobody is ever worried about crime. This is what a high trust society probably looks and feels like |
