It looks like a server-side reject during specific logins and appears to be tied to the ref_page redirect flow into post.php?thread=yes.
Edit: Just was locked out again for a second, and also looked at the file I was talking about it was nothing important. |

Date: March 19th, 2026 6:08 AM Author: a lifetime spent arguing with autistic men online Another thing I noticed: when I attempt to login through a reply/post path then it immediately flickers and bounces back, where if I do it through main--the login flow cosmetically completes but the server is still not granting authenticated account state. The login form is being submitted and the server is accepting the request enough to redirect but the application never transitions the session into an authenticated user state. My only conclusion can be that the login handler is not writing the user ID or auth flag into the server-side session. It writes it but the next request cannot read it reliably. We will continue to work on the issue, please send me a message if anyone on your team runs into this bad flow again, and forward me any relevant data.
