K&E does a good job rewarding people who produce. I don't think it's as cutthroat as it should be though because a lot of non-producing equity partners hang on for a very long time. |

It also takes years to climb the share count ladder as a home grown equity partner because you start off at the beginning share count and the adjustments only happen every couple of years and you can't go up all that much per cycle. |
