I made a post saying
"With the end of Christmas it's time for one of my favorite traditions, having our children choose which presents to keep and which to give away. We allow them each to keep 1 gift, the rest must be given away to neighbors, thrift stores, refugee resettlement groups, etc. This isn't some Scrooge behavior, it teaches them inventory management, long term planning, and how to make tough choices. All of these things are important in business and life. My son cried giving away his Nintendo Switch 2 but he decided, with some prodding, that he'd rather keep his new bike. 20 years from now they won't remember the gifts they gave up, but they will have the life skills they gained doing it."
Then I attached a grok photo of a crying kid handing his switch 2 to a migrant family. Now hundreds of people are arguing in the comments for and against it.
