David Fincher has a very uneven filmography. Some masterpieces and complete shit

Zodiac and The Social Network are incredible
Fight Club pretty 180 but kinda gen-x'y and dated now
Se7en was incredibly disturbing to me as a teen idk If I'll ever rewatch it
The Killer was dog shit streaming trash. Mank and The Girl With A Dragon Tattoo look stupid imo but haven't seen
The Game was kinda mid iirc
Panic Room looked like a movie you'd be forced to watch on a long flight
Is Alien 3 good? Benjamin Button?

I disagree that any of these movies is complete shit.
The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo was extremely well made. Nearly on the same level as Zodiac and Social Network. But whether you enjoy the plot could be taste dependent.
The rest are arguably mid, sure, but your bar sounds both high and arbitrary if you think they're actual trash.
