Entitlements have to be paid. But no one is entitled to have furniture in their office.
Furthermore Hegseth is a political appointee, not a merit hire. He doesn't have any of the due process rights a merit hire would have, and because he's a political appointee, it's considered fair for Congress to get political with him. |
