Date: February 11th, 2026 8:55 PM Author: Lime yarmulke spot VOO and SPY are basically the same thing (they track the same index) so you would just throw your cash into one or the other if you did this (VOO is the better choice long-term due to the lower expense ratio).
I don't think holding bonds is important until close to retirement, the real question you should ask yourself is how bullish you are on the US compared to the rest of the world in the next few decades. I mostly hold US indices (VOO), but there's an argument to be made that international stocks could perform better than American stocks in the coming years. |
