I love it because I used to play Tiger Woods 99 or whatever on PS1 with my bro, and we'd play Sawgrass 90% of the time because it was the best of the 4 courses. the construction of the highway(before the course was there) to the east changed that but the some of the ponds are totally man made including the one on 17. that wasnt supposed to be anything close to an island but they kept digging so much sand out that pete dye said fuck it thats a good idea when his wife suggested it |

not familiar with any of his courses in MD unless youre talking about bulle rock which ive never played but it looked pretty good on TV when they played a women's "major" there a handful of times
east coast Dye that was a hidden gem imo was wintonbury hills in CT. not the best but really good for a muni built a couple decades ago |
