Of course it's Charles M Blow the turbo woke negro. A couple of them scored Walz winning slightly but overall thought that debate was 'depressing'. I won't even count those. Majority thought Vance won and the debate was good. |

Hardly a blowout. CNN favoribility numbers post-debate show a huge jump for Walz (women driving the jump). Vance is still underwater. One could easily say that Walz was the real winner. |

Pragmatically, the debate didn't flip anyone from Harris to Trump, but it accomplished two things:
1. It made the lean Trump but queasy about Trump's antics more comfortable in voting for Trump.
2. It destroyed the Dem fake meme hit jobs on Vance that was admittedly so successful. Now Vance has to be treated as a genuine article and political threat, not a meme joke. |
