I'm moving to Malaga in 4 months. Permanently.

So I can basically move anywhere in the world I want, so I picked Malaga. Nice city in Spain with a beach. I'm probably going to meet lots of interesting people there, it's become a startup hub and 180 people move there. My next 10 years will be 180. The only thing I'm missing is being rich enough to buy a big property there to have horses, a swimming pool and every amenity rich people have.
Fire off with ideas on how to accomplish this.

it sucks, full of middle class retirees trying to stretch their funds while living a slightly better lifestyle than they would in whatever shithole london suburb. zero real culture or interesting nightlife, beaches are unimpressive. the weather is good but the equal of moving to scottsdale in the US or some shit, only leathery old boomer assholes covet it.
you will quickly join the leather ranks there and LMAO at finding a way to make any money or marrying into it. you'll be a 50 year old in steep decline trying get your claws into some impotent 70 year old retired accountant from birmingham who just wants to sit in the sun for a while before he dies. you'll need him because you will be desperate for some security at that point, the productive period of your own life being early over. also spanish cuisine, especially in a place like that, is massively overrated and downright awful much of the time.
you'll fit in well there but it's a lame place with little to offer people with real means or interests.

Lol, it seems like it comes from an upper class, young, athletic and never-aging rich guy who has so much money, he spends his time on xo bashing European cities, as there's no better use of his time. The funny part is that he offers no alternative, so he must not be so knowledgeable. Oh, and I forget, he lives in a city where there's no middle class, no "birdshits" either (black or Hispanic paradise then?) everyone is rich, it also has a beautiful beach and marvelous weather. I just wonder where this city he lives in is located. It probably has no tourism either, otherwise it'd be a shithole in his opinion. So it must have no culture and no nightlife. A hidden gem and paradise nobody's ever heard of but himself.
Oh and one thing, he's so retarded that he thinks the only way to make $ is by marrying up. I was thinking something like crypto and other investments. I want my own money, not somebody else's.

What is a "citizenship pass"
Either way you know if you have citizenship for any EU country you have freedom of movement to live in any other EU country permanently right?

Practically speaking you won't be refused treatment anywhere. There are regulations around this where you're supposed to have paid into your host country's social services and get reciprocity but for a random hospital visit it's not going to matter. You need to prove you have the resources to support yourself when you register in another country but for Europe that means a bank account of like $600 dollars because everyone's a poorfag.
Do you not already have citizenship for Spain or Italy because it's a multi year process?

Here's some opinions from Quora writers who actually lived in both countries:
I am from a very small village on top of a hill in the Veneto region in northeast Italy and have also lived in the city center of Milano in the zona Isola-Gioia. I currently live in Madrid, in Barrio Chueca. I have heard so often from non-Italians and non-Spaniards that the two countries are like siblings with similar languages, love of football/soccer, and the overwhelming majority have darker hair/eyes, and the olive-tone to their complexion. I suppose it’s faintly understandable, but siblings? Maybe step-siblings who were raised together the first 5 years of life then separated by the parents divorcing and had to grow up separately. Just saying that the two countries might appear from a distance to be similar, but in reality up close, they are really nothing like each other in just about every way. I am going to generalize a bit here, so please note that this is not indicative of everyone in each respective country.

Language- Italian is easier than Spanish. Spanish has a very sizable percentage of its words originating in Arabic, Basque, Nahuatl, and Galician. This makes Italian and Spanish vocabulary about 70% cognates. There are silent letters and barely aspirated letters that make understanding some words difficult. (like Hinojosa with the silent H and the barely aspirated J or the fricative S/Z/Ç sounds). Italian words are spoken so that each letter makes a definitive sound. Italian has very little influence outside of Latin. Most. notably some medical/anatomy words have their origins in Greek. Inasmuch as some people like to think so, spoken Italian and spoken Castellano Spanish are NOT mutually intelligible. We might be able to get the gist of what we are saying, but don’t bet any money on it.
Food- Not even a contest. Italian food is so much superior to what the Spanish eat. Not even worth arguing about.
Politics- Both countries have an abysmal history in this area. Both have had dictators with Mussolini and Franco. Both seem to have new elections every 6–18 months which gives little time, if any, for a government to do much. However, Spain has the upper hand here. It has a far more liberal and inclusive side to its politics, especially with gay rights/marriage/adoption, women’s rights, and immigration. Madrid and Barcelona have massive, very visible gay populations and entire neighborhoods that are overwhelmingly gay. If on the Madrid metro and you happen to arrive here, you don’t need a sign to tell you which station you’re at.

Society/Culture- It’s a tie. Both have long and storied histories with vibrant music and dancing, architecture, and art with a dizzying amount of museums, music halls, concert venues, and modern and ancient buildings.
People- Purely subjective but I find Italians to be much more friendly and helpful overall. In Italy the idea of “la bella figura” is very important. Walking into a shop in Italy you will be greeted with the more formal/polite “Buongiorno Signore/Signora, posso aiutarLe?” Unless the person working there knew you well as a personal friend or family, you would not be greeted with a simple “Ciao”. In Spain, usually a very curt “Buenas” or a seemingly bored “Hola”. To me, Spaniards are often rude and impolite. There seem to be few societal rules and they just do whatever they please without regard to others. It feels like Spanish society is infected with apathy and a lack of empathy. In Italy if I tell Italians about something sad or a difficulty in my life, there would be a constant chorus of “ho capito”, “mama mia/o madonna/omioddio”, and “poverino”. In Spain, the same sad story is met with utter silence and at the end “lo sé” or “que se puede hacer?” and a shrug of the shoulders.
Quality of life- Depends on where you live. Madrid and Rome are comparable as the 2nd and 3rd largest cities in the EU (people living within the city limits), Barcelona and Milan are comparable (the 10th and 12th largest in the EU). In my opinion, Madrid has a superior transportation than Rome and arguably the best in the EU. Rome’s sucks. A disgrace. Rome has much, much better historical sites and architecture. Rome’s 2 airports are mediocre at best whereas Madrid Barajas (especially T4) is quite nice, easy to get to/from, and spacious.
Milan is one of the “Four Motors for Europe”, has the 2nd largest GDP in the EU (after Paris), and is the wealthiest non-capital city in the EU. Madrid and Milan have almost the same GMP- Gross Metropolitan Product, despite Milan having just 1.4 million to Madrid’s 3.3 million people, while Rome and Barcelona have exactly identical GMP numbers yet Rome has 1.2 million more people than Barcelona. Good jobs are not easy to get in either country and the average gross monthly salaries are similar with a slight edge to Italy (€2534 Italy vs. €2189 Spain), but the average tax rate of 30% compared to Spain at 20% evens out the net salary amount taken home. (€1762 Italy vs. €1718 Spain). It’s another toss-up, but personally, I’ve lived in Milan and Madrid, and been to Rome and Barcelona many, many times and I found the quality of life the highest in Milan, but Madrid is not far behind.
Education- As a university professor, and having taught in both countries, I have some pretty in-depth knowledge in this area. Italy and Spain both spend 4% of their total government expenditures on education. Of the top 100 Universities in Europe, Italy has 9 and Spain has 6. My personal experience is that Italian students overall are far more serious about their studies. I was kind of shocked when I gave my first exam and students were talking to each other, sharing information, asking others how to spell a word correctly, etc.. Little did I know that this is tolerated in Spanish schoola from when they start at age 5–6 and all the way to university. A study by a professor of economics at the University of Porto looked at cheating in Spanish and Portuguese universities in 2008 and found 97,4% of Spanish students admitted they cheat, but just 10% said it was a problem that should be looked into. This is something Italian students don’t grow up with. I’ve also noticed that Spanish students in university have a very detailed and deep knowledge of all things Spanish, especially the history and the great age of exploration, explorers, conquistadors, and the politics of the Spanish colonies. They have very formed and molded ideas about Spanish colonialization and some are very negative and critical of it while some view it as nothing to be ashamed of and that Spain was under divine guidance and it waa God’s plan. Some see Christopher Columbus as a paid mercenary/rapist of Caribbean and Central American culture and its indigenous peoples who should be vilified. Italian students know Italian history of course, but they tend to have a very broad education with no emphasis put on any one subject. There are some high schools that specialize in the sciences, languages, or the performing arts, but they also must teach all other subjects as well. University costs are almost identical. For me, the deciding factor comes down to the international prestige and value the degree has because it came from a particular school. Spanish universities are just not known very well-known outside of Spain. Whereas La Sapienza, Bocconi, Politecnico Milano, and the Universities of Bologna, Padova, Pisa, and Firenze are very well-known worldwide and a degree from those schools is perceived very well. I’m not saying the Spanish universities are bad or an education from them is not valuable, just that they are not promoted very well internationally leading to a lack of prestige/perception of academic excellence.

My favorite activities are hiking and riding my bike. I know both countries have 180 scenery for those and lots of people do that, so that's a great place to start.
Then there's a new wave of digital nomads, this is why these new visas exist. It will be interesting to meet those communities.
Yeah, I will likely buy an apartment and some land, I'm selling the ones I have back home to get new ones there.
