Before that I was a loyal Jaybird customer for a few generations, but they also exited the market. |

I use them to listen to podcasts mainly so ambient noise doesn’t matter so much although they are also fine for music. The current second gen ones are a lot cleaner looking than the first gen bluetooth ones I have. It's hard to overstate just how bad they look IRL. That inline volume control bounces and sways as you walk. They essentially manage to look worse than ordinary corded headphones. The current gen ones, they managed to eliminate the cord.
At home I have a pair of low end Grados that I rarely use.
In both cases I use DSP correction which vastly improves the sound quality. I use Poweramp Equalizer on my phone for the Koss headphones. I have a fancy RME DAC that has DSP when I am at home listening to the Grados. |
