i remember buying stuff on ebay in high school and having to pay via mailing a money order. |

ever since google removed "don't be evil" from its code of conduct the internet has become outright, unmitigated grift with no attempt to even hide it. review inflation is the same as social media being tuned to maximize screentime rather than giving you want off the bat. google doesn't care whether their reviews are accurate, now that there's few other options they care about maximizing google ads revenue and of course they're going to tee-hee forgive negative reviews for companies that pay them. |
