I will refute two claims. First is the merit badge claim. CSLG actually caught the feels and really likes her. He's been on the hook for a long time. If you saw the interactions you'd know his heart was really in it. It's too easy to say he was just sport fishing. No, he got completely blown out. I guarantee if you scrolled through their text chain you'd agree with me. Box herself is oblivious to this sort of thing. Read the text chain, he was hung up. Had it bad. Went way beyond validation via sexual conquest. Much more along the lines of this chick is really hip and cool and if she likes me I means I'm really hip and cool. He put his emotions on the line but being a retard didn't take the time or effort to butter her up. That's why she was surprised and didn't see it coming. There was no build-up.
Secondly I'm not going to backslide. Do I have a soft spot for her? Yes. But I've also moved on. Went through the whole cycle of infatuation and lived to tell the tale. There's no going back. Yes it's easy to slide back into but I have too much wisdom to go through it again. Appreciating her from afar as it were. |
