It’s easy af to get away with any murder. Have you ever tried to get the police to do anything? It’s a disaster. You can lead them to water like a proverbial horse but they most likely won’t Drink.

If you’re the Husband or something they’ll Hone in on you. Otherwise you just have to outsmart some 95 IQ detective who gives your case like 0.875 hours of attention.

You’d think there’d be an industry of competent private eyes for when rich people want crimes solved. But that doesn’t exist irl afaik.

It’s funny how on procedurals detectives are portrayed as these Tall hyper competent guys with sterling phenotypes and tortured intellectual lives but irl it’s more likely to be some fat Irish guy who likes to go fishing lol

When you watch true crime shows a lot of the cases are like a husband opening a life insurance policy before his dumb wife dies in an “accident” and then he does the same exact thing to a second wife years and years later and investigators are finally all “wait a minute! The insurance! 😮💡”

The Zone of Death is the 50-square-mile (130 km2) area in the Idaho section of Yellowstone National Park in which, as a result of the Vicinage Clause in the Constitution of the United States, a person may be able to theoretically avoid conviction for any major crime, including murder.[1][2][3][4][5]

In general it's extremely easy to kill people and get away with it

The fact that it's so rare is a testament to how neutered modern humans are. I don't mean that as a normative statement but a factual one
