We should do 8 10 team conferences that play a full 9 game round robin and have agreed tie breakers. One warmup out of conference game and then a 24 team CFP with byes for the 8 conference champions and one non-bye spot held for non P8. In the current format it will always be Bama and Texas bitching that they are penalized by playing in a tougher conference. If it was always Utah and whichever 7th place SEC team or 5th place B1G team no one would care and it would be like bubble teams in March Madness complaining. They actually got punished for doing good lol. This year they did it right and are resting this weekend, then will get a home playoff game.
if I was the Indiana coach I would start my 5th string and let ohio state score 300 points. They are in regardless. |
