need a dinghy, he has a handmade one but it appears to have holes in it. he has two outboard engines but dont think they were serviced during covid, HELLOSIR says i can get them repaired so maybe will do that but think ill buy a cheap inflatable Chink dingy and an electronic motor
there's rust and rot on the port (left) side of the boat, mostly just superficial but one area that appears to be a sorta crack and then one area in front that is soft, so ill need to hire a HELLOSIR to saw off that part of deck and install new wood and fiberglass, cld prob do it myself from youtube vids but dont think i shld try
then need to paint the entire outside
cockpit needs a lot of work, the wood on benches is gone, prob can just buy some teak and replace it or fiberglass it
then the hood over cockpit is gone, prob will just take it off for now then find some replacement
also all the lines and sails are off and i have no idea if the engine really even works, HELLOSIR says it does and that the solar panels still work and battery charges though it prob old as 5 years old now, so maybe will need new battery
prob will buy a portable solar generator with a panel just in case |

You should have mounts on the back that hold the poles. Once a fish takes the bait you'll hear the line running out (the fish swimming away) and you put your beer down, get up, and reel it in. Very passive and chill.
No clue about those poles - the idea is to just get a couple because you're more or less dragging them behind your boat waiting for a fish to take the bait. Cut up smaller fish for bait. |

The biggest issue with the cat or trimaran is the connection of the hulls. many of the 1970-1980s trimarans were home constructed from kits. Well built boats of this type have stood the test of time but others have deteriorated structure which makes them unseaworthy. The performance of these boats also varies and they can be very quirky. A lot of these boats have a ketch rig for more balance/versatility. Hope Tommy got a decently built boat.
