Germans designed this shit with the assumption that their supply chain would never be disrupted. No effort was made to reduce complexity. Say what you will about the Abrams, it lacks this problem more than any other tank made in the last 50 years.

This is so gorgeous. Look at how you can just pop out the engine, do whatever needs doing and pop it back in:

Look at how clean a turbine engine is too, compared to any car or truck engine. No oil and debris anywhere, everything all nice and clean and tidy. Easy to see all the components and do whatever needs doing. All u need to know is how they work, same as piston engine but different.
