As in, moving their shit out of the unit and deciding enough is enough.
Has it ever been done?
Right now my storage company gave me a deal on a new unit- bigger unit for less money; the deal is going to save me 50% for 6 months, then it's going up to its full price which is a bit more than my current unit.
I want to use the 6 months to move all my shit out.
Is that realistic?

only people that are transitioning, e.g. putting shit in a unit while they're renting temporarily while looking for a new house or something.
if you're not moving, and you're going to downside and get rid of the shit, then why not just do that rather than moving it into storage in the first place?

it can be done
it took me about 6 years of procrastination and aborted attempts, which I understand is the industry average
