Date: February 5th, 2026 10:16 PM Author: Consuela yeah, the gnostic system has a whole emanation structure too which doesn't resonate with me either. i simply don't buy that an inferior being could ultimately act without the permission of the highest god. if the highest god doesn't know or can't stop the inferior being, then the highest god is not omniscient or omnipotent and you're back to dualism. the epicurean paradox is solid on this point.
