A transgender 19-year-old alleged neo-Nazi accused of plotting a racist mass shooting at a Hindu temple outside Chicago will get his hormone injections in jail while he awaits trial, a judge ruled.
A Cook County judge ordered Alexandros Paporakis held without bail Wednesday — but added a healthcare order, noting that the accused would-be terrorist takes hormone injections for gender transition, among other drugs, NBC Chicago reported.
In addition to his transition injections, Paporakis is being treated for ADHD, depression, and anxiety, the judge revealed. |
