We can walk there, the library, the kids’ schools, playgrounds, the town pool, etc. All without homeless people screaming and the constant smell of piss (can drive or train into the city for that), and a community with a lot of other well-mannered white and Asian young families all focused on raising our kids. There are grocery stores, markets, Target, etc. all within 5-10 mins. It’s reasonably quiet and we have a nice but small yard. Not sure where else I would raise a family? - I’m around a lot of creative people. So think someone starting and running a successful fashion brand, people with successful youtube shows, journalists, writers, activists, comedians, people in fashion etc. Even with work, everyone in my industry is either in San Francisco or NYC
Some of these people are annoying but it’s better than running into 100 people that work at the bank or hospital.
