OK I'll bite (hi TBF!).
The best argument Israel has is this:
It's citizens can't live in the north because of endless rocket fire and threats of a 10/7-style Hezbollah invasion via endless cross-border tunnels; they've been evacuated for over a year now (or more?). It is the primary responsibility of a nation state to defend it's citizens and borders even at the expense of others; that's what Israel is doing here, to effectuate the return of their citizens to their homes. That means the rocket fire has to end and the threat of invasion has to end.
Indeed, it is also Israel's responsibility to value the lives of it's soldiers to the extent that it can. Engaging in another 2006-style drawn out war with lots of casualties and an inconclusive ending is not in furtherance of that objective. Additionally, Israel's targets were relatively surgical: it attacked Hezbollah members specifically who had beepers and it took out the top Hezbollah leadership, ensuring that IDF action would be much more effective.
Indeed, Iran's strategy was perhaps a slow-moving one to make people flee Israel of people and investment over time, a slow grind-down. Israel's strategy pre-empts that strategy and puts Iran wholly on the defensive.
If white countries acted this way to protect white interests - which has historically been what countries did before this globohomo blown out mental nightmare, see Hitler's defense of Germans living in the Polish corridor as an example (https://thegoodcitizen.live/p/for-no-reason-at-all ) - then whites would have reason to be quite proud of their government.

Counter from what angle?
The world hates Israel and both its response to 10/7 and perhaps it's response to Hezbollah de-legitimzes it and makes the world hate it more. The Holocaust defense is out the door due to the 10/7 response, which is a big card to lose. Tactical or strategic victories are no means guarantees of ultimate victories.
But also, it seems clear that there is a significant contingent within Israel that ultimately seeks Greater Israel borders: https://wpassets.adda247.com/wp-content/uploads/multisite/sites/5/2023/10/23104210/Greater-Israel-Map-01.png
Unlike Iran, which has a sub-replacement fertility rate (1.8), the Orthodox and ultra-Orthodox fertility rate in Israel is enormous, like 5+. A country only feels the need to expand when it has massive fertility rates, not sub-replacement fertility rates. So who's to say Israel is the defensive party here and not the Palestinians or Hezbollah? Israel has been far more aggressive targeting Hezbollah, Syrian and Iranian assets than the other way around, which is mostly toothless threats for internal consumption. Israel is behaving like a rabid dog surrounded by a much chiller but much more giant billion-strong Muslim population. It's unstable.
Of course, the idea that the IDF, which has such pinpoint data on Hezbollah assets, didn't know about Hamas massing on the border for 10/7 is a total joke. Netanyahu knew, the IDF top brass knew, and they let it happen as it gave them a reason to level Gaza for oil/gas pipelines, a new canal route, and for Jared Kushner's Gaza beach highrises - disgusting.
Furthermore, the obviousness of Israel's total reliance on the U.S. is even clearer than ever, as is AIPAC's strangehold over congress, Epstein's blackmail ring, etc. The masses in America are not happy about this even with the endless propaganda. Perhaps pride comes before the fall...

Every nation state should act in the long term best interests of its citizens. I have zero problem with Israel acting to end the islamist threat on its border.
Similarly, all jews should be expelled from the US.
