i'd take the other side of the chicken or egg, that our behaviors are largely innate and driven by differences in our physiology and hormonal makeup. i agree that all the world is a stage to an extent, but people are mostly psychologically set by the time they realize how to put on the act. you can act more or less like "yourself" as an adult, but i don't think you can really radically change your gender performance. |
