my favorite is the "flex" posts. people poasting shit like "i just bought a $600 parrot - WITH A CAGE and took it to the vet - couldn't afford to do this if i had other humans to take care of!" "CHILDFREE FLEX - going out of state to see GHOST perform live in april. couldn't afford this if..." basically they're advertising that they are poor/LMC. |

-Fresh scooped litter (we have 8 litter boxes for 4 cats) and all are deep cleaned weekly
-Toys. SO many toys. And tons of play. |

We splurged on the Lyric Lounge, so we got complimentary drinks, chocolate wands, private bathrooms (this alone was worth it not to stand in line to share 12 stalls with 300 people during a 15 min intermission), charcuterie board and just a lovely place to sit and chill before the show and during intermission. We also got to pre-order our drinks for intermission (which were waiting for us) and we were able to have snacks available within the lounge. We ate spicy Vodka pizza from Upside and cannolis from Angelina. Walked a closed 8th St full of vendors and ate more street food. Overall, it was a great little day trip.
Lawd. All this free time and expendable money, what a sad and unfulfilled life we live. π |

The best thing is she is paid in full. To my younger sinks and dinks, especially those who may be financially frustrated, my life was not handed to me. Both my husband and I paid our way through college. We bought a half finished house and put in the work. We did all the sheet rock, painting, landscaping, etc. We sacrificed a lot, there were few dinners out, vacations, etc. But we worked our way up and now we have a house on acreage, paid off cars, a few vacations a year, and plan to retire by 55 (hopefully π€). Just know that hard work and smart decisions can pay off. None of this would have been possible if we had had kids.

My wife and I took a seven hour drive from our home in the States as an early 10 year wedding anniversary/27 total years together anniversary gift to each other. The first night we ate at an Italian chain but, the next day we went to Niagara Falls, went on a clothing shopping spree at Reitman’s (love that store!), ate at the 360° Restaurant at CN Tower and capped the trip off with a concert by my favorite band, The Dears! We had such a good time, we’re going back in February to see Kumail Nanjiani’s stand-up!
If we had crotch goblins we πππππ would be able to do these things. As it stood, it was hard enough finding a good kennel for our St. Bernard Ollie! I can’t imagine if there were little demon seeds running around too! π

I explained to my date that my birth control plan is to get a nexplanon impant(I have had it before) but long term I would hope my partner would be open to a vasectomy. My date works in the medical field and said that they personally wouldn't get a vasectomy because they didnt want to "shoot blanks". I asked what that meant and he essentially explained that the sensation of "finishing" didnt as pleasurable or it feels different.
I had no idea that was even a thing so ladies with a partner that has had this done, did they express any changes like that? To guys that actually got the procedure done, did it feel different??

i've always cringed when that dumpy girl from hs poasted updates about how she's "so happy with my decision not to have kids..." after roe got overturned, she made an update about how she might get her tubes tied or whatever (she was like 43 at the time). obnoxious.
viewing the situation as favorably as possible for these idiots, i guess you can say that a group on FB is justifiable because they feel like outcasts because society expects them to have kids, blah blah blah. but you can tell these people are absolutely vapid and empty. and there seems to be a fair amount of cope going on. why do you need to swear up and down publicly that you are SO HAPPY with your child-less life? just go live your life if it's so awesome. |

My body has aged, my mental is at .01, the migraines and sticky hands and repeating my name over and over, repeatedly violating simple rules... 90 days! I couldn't do 72 seasons of that. |

I currently make 49k and I’m moving to a different dept within my company, it’s technically a lateral move but they offered me a 5% increase putting me at 52k and change. I was hopping to get closer to 55k but my company is currently on a hiring freeze so I only shot for 53k. I’m panicking that they’ll say no even though it’s only like $600 π₯²π₯²π₯²

Life’s good, and my soul needed this reprieve, it needs it frequently. Why would ANYONE ever want to ruin this with children? π
