Date: September 17th, 2025 11:24 PM Author: Dun chad Rockish stuff. Helps me write songs when I can lay down a bass line. I just do guitar in my band so I relearned the major/pentatonic scale modes for a 6 string so I would be able to use the extra strings. It’s pretty similar looking patterns:

I see the appeal of the 5 string. Adds new positions on the neck to play stuff and a few extra notes.
Maybe if I had one and played it regularly I’d get used to it but it just feels awkward and uncomfortable to me whenever I play one. |
