Could you make a D1 college football roster? An NFL roster? Assume there are no eligibility issues and you can get any tryouts and camp invites you want. |

If you're in the end zone at the time, end of story, it's a td. If you're not, the DB or another defender might be able to knock it loose or strip it before you get out of bounds, score, or are tackled. And they'll be more likely to be able to knock it loose if it's a one finger catch above your head than if it's a catch with two hands into your chest. |

You have magical ability to get 3 yards open as a wide receiver, but you otherwise have your current athletic ability. Current hands, etc.
Id say, with your magic 3 yard window and a QB throwing an NFL calibre pass to you in that window, you still drop over 80% of targeted passes, making you among the worst receivers ever.
And "all" you have to do is extend your arms, receive the pass, and pull it in within about a second.
NFL passes come in something like hardball pitches, anywhere within a square, fast and hard as hell. And you have to get your hands there, catch a firing meteor, and control it, while you are running, and conscious of a bullet train heading at you from ~three yards away. Majority of these balls are also over your head, so your elevating in full fb pads to get your hands up to the right place in like 0.2 seconds. |
