I think every Kinski performance is always almost goofy. He's impossibly earnest. That "oldest remedy" scene where Kinski keeps marching toward Harker until he falls into the chair is one of my favorite Herzog scenes. It has that kooky but chilling feel.

Aguirre is my favorite. Any of the earlier Kinski collabs are worthwhile, though, but Fitzcarraldo is essential. Bad Lieutenant is a hoot.

For the Docs, Grizzly Man, My Best Fiend, Little Dieter Needs to Fly are all up there for me.

He's done a ton of movies and most are worthwhile.
