I'm certain that footage was filmed in the US or in Canada, maybe Australia. Not only the big yard on a modest house, but also the style of construction, with a brick chimney and wood everything else.
There are big yards in Germany but not many and not on modest houses in the cities.
Also I think my German is somehow getting worse. I might be retarded. I started learning Russian out of pure boredom. Surprisingly easy. Somehow everything is easier than German. I think I speak Danish better than German. What's wrong with me? All their words sound exactly the same and there's seemingly no root words to give a clue to the definition. I would need to rote memorize 1K words to up my game but I'm too lazy. Help me bro...
Every other language has a trick that makes it easier to memorize. In German every word is abgeziehen würden or würde zieh geapgehängt los sein it's all just jumbled syllables. I will never be able to recall it.
but remember that prepositions are really hard for ESL to learn in English, and a German compound verb is the same as an English verb + preposition, just sometimes connected as one word
apropos of abziehen, foreigners struggle with "pull off" versus "pull through" vs. "pull over" vs. "pull up" vs. etc etc too, it's the same problem
This doesn't exist in French they just have a different verb for everything. Ez. So much so I can't think of a single French synonym for these. You have to think Frenchly to translate it.
