I hung out with CSLG and his wife in October 2023 as we group hiked the San Gabriel River gorge toward the Bridge to Nowhere. I next saw her with CSLG during a poolside breakfast in Ko Alina, O’ahu in October 2024. There was a marked change in her demeanor. CSLG never spoke to me about any details of his relationship, feelings, accusations, abuse, etc. He was always incredibly reserved and protective of that relationship and always did right by her—even when she was falling short and behind, he never left her side.
