They don't have any rationale beyond that they viscerally hate him. They have hated him for so long they may not know anymore why they hate him. It's just embarrassing and you can't take these people seriously in any way. They're utter jokes of human beings.

What seems to really bug them more than anything is that he's a threat to their never-ending hegemony. He actually won before and has a chance to win. They never got to have their balloon party in the Javits Center. They're still incredibly butthurt that Obama didn't roll on indefinitely and their whole cabal could just carry on forever. Diane Feinstein and Nancy Pelosi forever! It's HER turn.

Why can't these soulless rat fucks just speak the truth for one goddamn second. Just say you hate Trump because he won, because half the country doesn't believe in the Dem platform at all. Admit you just fuckin hate his face. But stop couching it all in endless tedious euphemisms. The shitlib pundits are so disingenuous and awful it makes my head explode with rage at their unfathomable ability to lie endlessly about what they really mean. Just say, hey, we're the New York Times and fuck Donald Trump. We hate his guts and we hate all the people like them because they don't have fancy degrees and like food with unpronouncable ingredients. Just fucking admit it dude. These fuckers are so slimy and reprehensible. And they have NO CLUE why millions of people hate them right back. God libs are so fucked up spiritually it's unreal.

I have like one remaining lib friend in all of my life and he still calls Trump 'The Cheeto' unironically. Probably the last person in my life I will ever talk to who is like this.

Lib politics in the $tates are driven more by resent than any categorical desire to increase sustainable population liberty or raise working class QoL and access to opportunities for all (not just minorities)

Hard to blame many in this camp, especially younger libs who were basically sold a false bill of goods on leftist history vs leftist reality by the media and the academies but still, it is extremely tiresome to deal with and has left to all sorts of intragenerational dysfunction, a needlessly reactionary posture from the right (we had the greatest RW movement in recent history with the alt-right; the future of the right actually out-cultured the left for a good while), the lives of many many children turned out as Frankenstein playing God with gender experiments, and the decay/neglect of the traditional Democratic impetus to encourage labor unions and better work conditions for the poor

All very backwards now and the scapegoating of the Orange Man, who lead a fairly moderate NY Republican administration that under all the furor and rancor of the media was responsible for times that were generally well-liked and economically prosperous, has led to some of the populist gains on the right receding and a complete lack of self-scrutiny as to what's taken over the party of the working class on the left

The results of his demonization have been crazy, utterly insane, and we all said this over and over again for four years during his term but the left went all in on it anyway and basically caused a social war that meant that everyone but the uniparty donors backing interests that most of us despise (they're currently raping the public through these price increases and drops in quality) lost out

CR. You saw this in today's NYT editorial on why Biden should step aside. They struggled to pinpoint what makes Trump so objectionable — instead resorting to vague, fear-inducing rhetoric, like this:

"Donald Trump has proved himself to be a significant jeopardy to that democracy — an erratic and self-interested figure unworthy of the public trust ... Mr. Biden has been an admirable president. Under his leadership, the nation has prospered and begun to address a range of long-term challenges, and the wounds ripped open by Mr. Trump have begun to heal ...If the race comes down to a choice between Mr. Trump and Mr. Biden, the sitting president would be this board’s unequivocal pick. That is how much of a danger Mr. Trump poses."

The only thing ripped open was the border under Biden's "leadership"

That's what got me to blow a gasket. That fucking article. As we all know, as certain as the air we breathe, Trump is the enemy of the people and a Very Bad Man.

OK but fucking why? Sometimes I'll randomly be listening to Conan's podcast and some actor will out of nowhere just start attacking Trump in the middle of telling some gay story about Hollywood and of course Conan who has never had a big political persona just nods along whatever. It's as true to libs that Trump is awful as heliocentrism or gravity. It's an immutable fact of reality to them but they can't even begin to articulate it.

I think a lot of Republican voters if Trump came out and said I have a very serious plan to start World War III and I'm going to go to nuclear war with Russia day 1 most voters who have supported Trump all along would be like uhh actually no I'm not gonna vote for that. But that's actually substantive. Cons really do vote on substance. We're not walking around with this mythical animosity towards someone who gently disagrees with the last 50 years of generally accepted American politics like it's the end of the fucking world. These two groups of people are not alike.

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Agenda. USAID installed advisers on

Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) committees “in all its Bureaus, Offices, and

[overseas] Missions” and created “an agency-wide dashboard and DEI scorecard

for all bureaus, offices, and missions” to track staff compliance with the Administration’s DEI directives. A Chief DEI Officer oversees this DEI infrastructure and

sits in the Administrator’s office. DEI directives are now part of all agency policies

and are incorporated as standard clauses in all contract and grant awards. Those

seeking to do business with the agency must “describe the approaches they will

use to diversify their partner base.”8

USAID often ties DEI to “gender and climate

equity,” corrupting every aspect of the agency’s overseas work.

The upshot has been to racialize the agency and create a hostile work environment for anyone who disagrees with the Biden Administration’s identity politics.

This pursuit of ideological purity threatens merit-based professional advancement

for staff who do not overtly conform, hyperpoliticizes what should be a nonpartisan

federal workplace environment, creates an institutionalized cadre of progressive

political commissars, corrupts the award process, and discourages potential contractors and grantees that disagree with this radical agenda from applying for

USAID funding.

The next conservative Administration should dismantle USAID’s DEI apparatus

by eliminating the Chief Diversity Officer position along with the DEI advisers and

committees; cancel the DEI scorecard and dashboard; remove DEI requirements

from contract and grant tenders and awards; issue a directive to cease promotion

of the DEI agenda, including the bullying LGBTQ+ agenda; and provide staff a

confidential medium through which to adjudicate cases of political retaliation

that agency or implementing staff suffered during the Biden Administration. It

should eliminate funding for partners that promote discriminatory DEI practices

and consider debarment in egregious cases.

As federal departments and agencies cannot play partisan politics, staff—irrespective of hiring mechanism—as well as implementers and grantees that engage

in ideological agitation on behalf of the DEI agenda should be dismissed, and entities should be debarred. The next conservative Administration should return the

authority over all civil rights issues at USAID to the agency’s Office of Civil Rights,

which is the appropriate locus for ensuring that all Americans have guaranteed

equality of career opportunity at USAID.

Sounds like a great plan for Trump. Which part of this do you disagree with?

You touch on this in your post but it’s just rural vs. urban resentment. Trump is crass and undignified - city people hate that/look down on people like that. Trump is doesn’t play politically correct word games - urbanites have based their entire social climbing upon who can be more performative in that area. The issues Trump champions are issues that urbanites don’t care about or are diametrically opposed to.

An underrated aspect of this election that will probably be discussed more after it is over is what the reshuffling of population out of cities after COVID did to the democratic coalition. Dems should be making it a top priority to makes cities as nice to live in as possible. Total coalition breakdown while rural values are unanimous and suburbs are increasingly throwing their hat in with them.

I grew up a yuge shitlib in a major metro surrounded by intellectuals with fancy degrees. I had no connection to the land and didn't know any rural people. I tended to look down on them as did everyone around me. My whole community thought middle America was backwards. And when Trump first ran I thought he was crass and that you can't say the things he was saying.

But life experiences changed me. I realized some shit about how the world really was. I encountered people with different views and experiences. And I realized Trump was funny and there's nothing wrong with the President saying pussy. I just have no idea why other people don't grow out of lib bullshit and change like I did. I can't imagine what kind of inexorable faggot I would be today if I didn't get over my loser mentality when I was a lib. It's a horrible way to go through life and we should all be thankful that we're not fucked up.

Living in DC for years made me realize that strivers need to be killed. If you’ve never left the city, Trump’s popularity probably would lead to your mental breakdown.

When those people drive outside the city somewhere it just must shatter their worldview like holy shit we're surrounded by these people. The craziest part is conservatives are so nice and they will accept anybody who is just nice and normal. If they can step outside themselves for a few minutes and not judge them and be normal human beings conservatives will accept almost anybody. But they can't MASE. Libs can't pack it in for five seconds. They just start spewing nonsense. Their whole insides are made up of rank insanity. Just look at Obeezy today. Effing nutjob. Even if he's trolling which he's obviously trying to come across like he doesn't care but he obviously cares so much and he's a fucking psychopath. And rural people can smell the dishonesty on you so fast. Butter if they were somehow able to act normal cons would embrace them. But they can't, they really truly can't.
