It’s shocking how overconfident MAGA is on immigration when Trump inherited the asylum crisis and botched it in his first term and set the entire open borders correction process back a decade with his retarded wall fixation instead of doing what was right and focusing on employer side enforcement (which he still TACOs on to this day). Obama did his part, conservatives were happy with substantially increased enforcement, senate GOP clears deal with mandatory e-verify and substantial increase in border and internal enforcement, boehner backs deal, and freedom caucus derails it and offers no alternative ("FUCK OBAMA!"). The GOP rug-pull destroyed the mainstream immigration position within both parties.
