seems like a dying industry
people drink less, realize expensive wine is bs, and there is clearly massive over production
i bought 8 bottles of kirkland 'signature series' oakville for $19/bottle. that's pretty much the most expensive region in napa. if costco can sell a store brand from there for under $20, it goes to show you how obscene the margins were in the past.
