Once every couple of months I'll go on a fishing trip with my dad in the relatively little time he has left to do that sort of thing. My only stated goal this year is to crank through this book: https://csapp.cs.cmu.edu/ as having AI do all my work has turned my brain to mush and I would like to prove to myself I can do it. I'll probably have to find another hobby at some point because after not being on stims for a year I'm very bored but my screen tolerance isn't what it used to be. Also trying to figure out what I will do when I no longer have a Job as the best I've got right now is Police Academy.
What's the most prestigious Faggy Drink? I've been drinking white russians a lot lately and it's basically a faggy latte that's half booze. Very nice. |

I had some pretty good faggy relationships in my youth and am not really interested in hitching up with someone just because I'm scared of dying alone or whatever. It's also pretty hard to stop myself from doing shit like looking a woman straight in the eye and telling her without a hint of irony that there is a >75% chance within 2 years I am making <30% of what I do now, stuff like that breaks their brains.

I'm vaguely aware of some of the smut and it has gotten as smutty as old fan fics. I think there is still a real industry for books to have around your house for show, including men who want to advertise their liberal arts chops and general polish e.g. Nietzsche and similar. The more interesting thing to me is the market for big idea books (for men) that seems to be cornered by podcasts. Why read Marcus Aurelius when you can listen to three or four dudes summarize some take-away points and banter about the ramifications? This isn't even a bad thing imo, just a curious phenomenon.
