In 2024 there were a lot of candidates in the GOP primary. There were a lot of competing ideologies, a lot of rhetoric, a lot of personalities.

Who came out in droves for Trump? The OG MAGA base. The rural whites. Middle America.

They rejected South Florida Jews and their preferred candidate (DeSantis). They rejected MIC Jew lover Nikki Haley who tried desperately to win over the Beltway. The rank and file corn fed hillbillies, the Evangelicals, the Protestants, the Catholics all turned out for Trump. This is the base. This has always been the base. And Marjorie was their 1st Lieutenant. She was the Goebbels to Trump's Hitler, the MAGA Id. And she's coming.

I think it's one of two ways. Either she reached her ceiling and capitulated or she has some kind of plan to run in 2028. Nick is right though, if she was going to run she's stronger if she still has her seat. So that doesn't make sense to resign.
