VR is great, but you have to have the right games and it's also more "work" to get ready for each session. The easiest games to acclimate to are racing games or arcade flight games that you play seated with a controller like you would any non-vr game. there are a lot of racing games that look good in VR, but my favorite (simple) flight games are project wingman and star wars: squadrons.
Then you have games that play a lot like a modern evolution of old light gun games like Time Crisis, etc where you are using the hand controllers to aim and shoot. Of those, Robo Recall is my favorite and Pistol Whip is also really good.
And finally, you have games that have you flailing your arms around like a retard. This is where VR starts getting pretty gay and you really have to be in the mood to deal with it. . |
