The psychic energy of it reminded me strongly of Bronze Age Pervert’s book - just a kind of smarmy, extremely homosexual will-to-power crouched in Straussian read-between-the-lines denialism. Indeed BAP, Strauss, and Bloom’s Closing of the American Mind (a Straussian homosexual messaged hidden within a normie-con conservative message) are all repeatedly referenced within it. There were lots of philosophers’s names casually but superficially referenced within with the purpose of showing how “smart” 30-year-old Pegas actually was (or at least that’s how I took it). I felt psychically gross reading it and that I needed to scrub off afterwards.
