That depends on a lot. I assume you're not talking about MBB
For Booz Allen and big 4 consulting shops it's more regemented progression. If you put in a few years at one of those shops and transfer over to a small shop you can increase your salary more quickly. I'd probably say someone with 5 years experience but no masters would be making 75-85k or so. I think after that you'll probably hit a ceiling because without a masters or MBA youre not going to get to a senior consultant/manager level. They also care about BS certifications like PMP and lean six sigma in this industry so that can help you get more $.
