but that of course changes the incentives for certain actors to kill US troops in the region. the bases in syria and iraq are not, seemingly, very well-defended. they could easily get gulf-of-tonkin'd/USS maine'd/USS liberty'd/etc. and we'd know why, but the median american retard might not.
secondarily, biden has already shipped more than 50,000+ tons of munitions to israel since last october. you arm it, you buy it. if that choice eventually blows back on him or his administration, he has precisely zero grounds for complaint. |
