Tilden was presumed to be Dem nominee in 1880 but stepped down for health reasons in June right before the DNC. Grant, the former Republican president with a strongman authoritarian loyalist personality cult ran for a non-consecutive term in 1880. He won a 45% plurality of the vote on the convention floor. Grant & the establishment candidate Blaine that blocked him from the nomination settled on Garfield as the consensus candidate with Grant loyalist/Stalwart Chester Arthur of NY being his VP. Garfield would go on to win the presidency only to be assassinated by an insane former Grant personality cultist who considered Garfield disloyal for various reasons. The narrative after the 1880 election was that Tilden would've won had he been able to run. Blaine would go on to lose to Cleveland in 1884.

Don Jr. lives in FL/NY, so this suggests there might be some type of west to east exodus causing Florida to become the most populous state by 2028. This actually would line up well with the Pluto & Uranus returns. A Pluto Return cycle hits a nation approximately every ~240 years starting with its birth and demands the reformation or destruction of it. A Uranus return hits a nation every 84 years (1860 & 1944 correlated with the Civil War & WW2). The US failing to reform itself & returning to its pre-1776 eastern seaboard footprint could match up with FL becoming the most populous state by 2028 (FL was a loyal British territory like Canada during US independence).
