he never managed to establish a new or independent political identity for himself - he merely pranced around from one Boomer hot-button political/social issue to the next, selling his wares to Boomer-dominated media outlets, as if to say, "Mommy, mommy, look at me! Look at meeeeeeeee!"
this is the fundamental tragedy of generation X. they never did manage to break away from the patterns and ideologies set out before them by their elders. after a period of studied nonchalance and disengagement, they are coming back to the political fold, and they are - more often than not - aggressively pro-Boomer in their politics. |

HUGE asslickers.
