You're missing a few options, including suspicion of unfavorable leaks and not being enough of a "team guy," to name a couple
Hard to see high level military men refusing to do an invasion. As much as I hope it's not the civilian infrastructure thing (because I do NOT want that to be something we actually would do), that is an order that some military men would conceivably refuse
Fuck me if we actually follow through on striking civilian power plants and water supplies of any real significance. That will be by far the darkest day I've ever seen for this country, and we will have become the new case study for why people don't rise up to depose murderous tyranny
You can see Germany over there in the corner kind of praying for this so it can fade into the shadows of history a bit
