The things that provide you with actual status are not something you really "buy into." For example, I have no idea if Sergey Brin has a yacht or private jet or whatever. I know who he is because of his role at Google. IRL it works the same way for pretty much everyone else too. The stuff that actually matters is inherent to you. |

Lower upper class and UMC are rich enough that they can get hot chicks pretty much on demand. They don't have a guy that handles it for them, but they can get what everyone thinks is a fairly expensive escort that is hot.
Below that it gets dicey. But regardless, the idea that humanity is somehow remotely egalitarian is lol. |
