The game is quite good and the visual progression is what I found most gripping about it, Act 1 into 2 are stellar
Act 3 it falls off a cliff due to "engineering" requirements and you have to start caring about your "build" coming "online" instead of having fun and fucking around with 300 "mods" to make the game fun because it stops being fun and turns into a slog of chores and breadcrumbs of shit you didnt resolve properly while you had too much fun in Act 1 and 2 blasting through it
If you dont methodically research all of the minor followers and NPC interactions you might "miss" something, like for example I wanted this pair of gloves that synergized with a legendary polearm I found but I realized on the gay "wiki" later that I literally beheaded a goblin in a previous Act who was a breadcrumb that would lead me down a rabbit hole where I would get the gloves I needed en passant.
I went into discord with my friends to play it and we always end it at Act 2. Also my friends are engineers who have way better builds than me and I made me feel bad an losery so I stopped playing it wass embarrassing to be a 0 int martial retard while my engineering aware friends flew around the map with high int characters that had insane interactions on items and builds that were crazy
