Did you discover the strategy of just stacking 30-40 infantry for defense? If you get 40 rolls, you’re guaranteed to destroy any attacker, no matter how many gay bombers they have.

I just thought about this when I was thinking about how our effort to “take control of the strait” would work out against 1,000 drones and RC speedboats.

I think that’s where I invented it in our group actually. 10 faggy tanks don’t stand a chance against 40 rolls.

Its been a long time bc it takes too long to set up so I dont remember the rules much

There's a good recreation of it on Tabletop Simulator though. Also enjoyed the WC3 A&A recreation despite it being real time and fairly different

In a similar vein ive been playing a lot of multiplayer Hearts of Iron IV, the market's premier ww2 grand strategy game

Between AD&D and Axis & Allies, the early 90s were peak America. The only activities for teenagers in 2026 are smoking Frankenweed and scrolling TikTok.

It's over.

Arent you in Utah or something? Mormons are ground zero for traditional entertainment. Board games and card games have made a huge resurgence in recent years. Pokemon etc, DND, settlers of catan, all that stuff is very popular still and somehow still gaining steam

Hawaii? Hawaii has surfing and boarding and skating

Nah chinglet WW2 was an honorable war and people still enjoy the mythos and political interactions

Sorry your country was getting bayoneted and beaten into the dirt by chad Kwantung army alphas but that doesn't mean we're going to stop talking about it

I’m a big WWIImo but you don’t see a lot of WWII movies and vidya being released these days. Brown zoomers are retarded about history and don’t care about whites fighting each other over jews

That has more to do with that style of massive extras-heavy war epic falling out of favor now

Like with music production the big media corps have been switching from huge Coppola style investments to using indie-appearing small companies to throw 5-50 million at a half dozen concepts rather than putting all their eggs in one basket. Consumer taste is somewhat fickle these days, internet media platforms have eaten a big chunk of the traditional market, and directors want to make concepts that studios arent sure the public will turn out to see in profitable numbers

WW2 themed games/movies/etc are still very popular amongst zoomers. I forget where but I overheard some chad looking bros making a war thunder joke and the downloads/views for stuff like "saving private ryan" and "band of brothers" etc are still fairly high when they're available on platforms
