I had a solar array installed with a whole home battery backup (it is a Sol-Ark system with 2 large batteries). Our utility pays a fraction of price for energy you sell back compared to the cost of energy usage, so this is suboptimal. Installer comes back, says it is updated but still the same problem remains. Today I asked Gemini, it tells me where to look and I upload photos from the controller. Gemini immediately finds the problem and tells me that they screwed up one checkbox (the wording was unintuitive). I changed it and now it works as intended. You could dick around and play phone tag with this guy who has no idea what he did wrong or why it isn't working or you can use AI which will give you the right answer immediately and resolve it in 5 minutes.
