the bluecheck YouTuber goes buckwild on globohomo social media, it gets big traction, eventually forcing a quivering, wide hipped gormless NewEgg exec out from his rathole to 'address' his CS issue in person. After some squirming, NewEgg agrees to a meeting & they all have a sit down. They clear out a dingy break room, they're all masked up, pudgy middle aged exec starts off from the bat with GC 'sincerity' shtick, all solemn and I couldn't keep watching it. Just absolutely disgusting scenes wrt phenotype

Why didn't this Loser accept his ignominy being SHUT DOWN by indian customer service reps? This outcome is highly disturbing, a critical mass of losery phenotypes in the underbelly of ‘newegg’ hoisted out of their ratholes and forced on camera

I suspect the hesitancy about filming had more to do with residual pain from their phenotypes being scrutinised in motion, how utterly humiliating and disgusting!

The token white guy is a Generic Business guy. This is the guy you want talking to Women or CNBC or something, not to LoserNerd customers. They need to keep a neckbeard around to have these types of conversations. If this youtuber got to talk to one of his own instead of a guy who got laid at age <=16, he'd be much, much happier even with the same outcome.

Also, I wouldn't buy anything open box unless I was prepared to be Ruined or it was deeply discounted. This sort of mix-up is to be expected. I don't even know that there was a difference between "returned" and "open-box" because I'm not a die-hard Consoomer. When you buy anything like that you're taking a fucking gamble. Anything involving "returns" with an online retailer is also a gamble. You're basically taking 2 discrete gambles - that the product will be functional, and that their returns process will work seamlessly. If it were only 1 of the 2, it wouldn't even be a risk. This, to me, is just common sense. I am a Loser who makes 0k atm and I still wouldn't mess with anything open-box. Sure, I have time to deal with idiots on the phone and to return stuff if need be but the fact that getting screwed is a possibility is always a part of the calculus. It's common sense. You don't just get to be a Poor Loser and arbitrage companies.

Even if it were a brick-and-mortar company like Best Buy, the risk with open box is less because you can bring it into the store and make a Scene until someone pays attention to you. Online retailer + Open Box = I would want it to be so cheap that if it doesn't work, I could just throw it away and ngaf.

Lastly you gotta love the youtuber telling them how to run their "business." This is a very, very Gen X thing to do. Obviously he looks at the thing from the redditor perspective where "the company is asking its people to work too hard," when come on, this fuck-up looks to have taken place during COVID when it was hard af to fill jobs. You could've had 1.) competent people with COVID missing work causing gaps, 2.) the company had excessive turnover from being too cheap to adjust to bidenflation causing problems. Don't know why they didn't just blame COVID for everything. This guy's Liberal Redditor fanbase wouldn't argue with it.
