Lenovo is warning gamers and buyers that current PC and hardware prices likely won’t stay this low for long because global memory (DRAM/NAND) shortage driven by massive AI demand -are pushing costs up and tightening supply. Lenovo’s North America president says the inventory available now could represent some of the best pricing we’ll see over the next 6-12 months, and recommends buying sooner rather than later before prices and scarcity get worse.
PC components are already on a massive price rise, and for gamers, it is a matter of the resources they have at hand to decide whether an upgrade or purchase today would be a worthwhile decision.
